There’s another young talent in the Kaizer Chiefs DStv Premiership team. His name is not hard to miss at all.
Kaizer Chiefs are continuing to build for the future with homegrown talent out of Naturena. The latest one shares a surname with his coach Arthur Zwane (no family relation).
SAMKELO ZWANE PROMOTED TO KAIZER CHIEFS’ FIRST TEAM
Despite the club’s odd decision not to make an announcement confirmation, Chiefs revealed a starting line-up and substitutes to face Swallows FC on Wednesday, with Samkelo Zwane making the bench for the first time.
Zwane, who is a 20-year-old from Reimsug in Johannesburg, plays his football as a central midfielder. The young hopeful could make his debut for Kaizer Chiefs as a substitute against Swallows on Wednesday night.
PROMOTING THE KIDS
Zwane now follows after several of his former teammates in the junior teams. The list includes popular names such as Bruce Bvuma, Siyabonga Ngezana, Happy Mashiane, Keletso Sifama, Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya, Sabelo Radebe, and of course the supporters’ darling Nkosingiphile Ngcobo.
