PSL SUPERSTAR SET TO SEAL A MOVE ABROAD
Kaizer Chiefs forward Kgaogelo Sekgota is set to seal his move to Portuguese giants Sporting CP
After a series of good performances during the just ended 2022/23 PSL season, the 25 years old Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana International winger is set to seal his move to Portuguese giants Sporting CP.
It will not be his first time playing in Portugal as he had played for Victoria Setubal in the 3rd division on a loan deal from Bidvest Wits where he was produced. Things didn’t go pretty well in that short stint at the Portuguese side, perhaps he will be looking to do better this time.
According to top Portuguese publication O’JOGO Kaizer Chiefs and Sporting have reached an agreement around the region of £1.5m (R27m) for the sale of the speedy winger. He is expected to fly out to Portugal next week to do his medical and sign the contracts.
Rumours in Portugal also indicate that the speedy winger might have to go on-loan to Portuguese top-flight side Pacos de Ferreira whom have a great relationship with Sporting CP.
