After a disappointing season for both Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, the clubs have already began preparations for a new season, with both teams already linked with some players.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Katlego Otladisa, has rediscovered his form at Marumo Gallants this season. Following a hard spell at the current DSTV Premieship champions. Where he spend a lot of seasons warming the bench, after joining the club from the now defunct Platinum Stars.
The 25-year-old has now attracted interest from both Pirates and Chiefs, as he continue to revive his career with Gallants, in January it was reported Amakhosi were keen on signing Otladisa. But Gallants made it clear that he was not for sale.
But according to close source Pirates have now entered the race, and are keen on signing the player with Chiefs still interested. Its remains to be seen, if any of the two Soweto teams will make an official offer to Marumo Gallants.
Otladisa signed a three-year-deal, when he joined Gallants last season. Which means any team serious about signing the player, will need to discus a transfer fee with Gallants. Otladisa is expected to play a huge role in when Gallants take on his former team in the Nedbank Cup final.
