Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns star George Lebese has returned and is on his way back to the DStv Premiership! Will he sign for Amakhosi or The Brazilians?
Lebese is one of the most recognized and respected names in PSL history.
He made a name for himself playing for the likes of Chiefs, Sundowns and even SuperSport United. Now, he is on the brink of making an emphatic return to the DStv Premiership! So, will he return to Naturena or even Chloorkop?
LEBESE’S PSL RETURN – WILL HE SIGN FOR CHIEFS OR SUNDOWNS?
Lebese is on the brink of a famous return to the DStv Premiership.
He has entrusted the services of well-known and widely-respected personal trainer, Harry Mohlahlane. According to The KosiBay, this is in an attempt to get Lebese back to optimal fitness so that he can return to the PSL.
Currently, the former Amakhosi defender is hard at work and has been training intensely for three weeks.
“George has made huge progress. He has shown great attitude and determination since we started working together,” Mohlahlane confirmed.
Mohlahlane refused to comment on when Lebese will return and who he will sign for when he does.
“I can’t talk a lot, for now, my job is to get George to the top fitness level required. The rest you can talk to him,” Mohlahlane added.
He has history and sentimental connection with both Chiefs and Sundowns.
However, Sundowns are packed with midfield talent. He could fancy a famous return to Naturena if he reached peak fitness. They can certainly afford him and would benefit from bringing an experienced midfielder into the club.
