Njabulo Ngcobo is the latest player interesting Kaizer Chiefs following being inactive in the previous transfer window as well as the current one due to a FIFA ban imposed on Chiefs.

Kaizer Chiefs is not only interested in Njabulo, 26, early this year he was reportedly coveted by a number of South African top-flight sides that includes Amakhosi. Swallows FC owner David Mogashoa says the Premiership side has no intention of selling him. Three months back Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt admitted he is interested in signing many players once the club’s transfer ban expires and Njabulo’s name was linked with the club.
Kaizer Chiefs Set To Welcome Swallows FC Trio At The End Of The Season.
Swallows themselves have recently approached Chiefs for the services of midfielder Given Thibedi, who is on loan at the Dube Birds until the end of the season and has impressed the club so much that they want him to stay permanently.
As a result, the two clubs can meet each other halfway with Ngcobo going to Naturena, while Thibedi remains at Swallows, though sources have indicated that Amakhosi could offer cash and a player to close the deal.
Chiefs were inactive in the previous two transfer windows during the 2020/21 season but will be able to register new players from July 1.
They have a solid relationship with Swallows and the evidence is in their agreement to allow Sifiso Hlanti and Kgaogelo Sekgota to join the Dube Birds as they could not have them on their roster for the current season.
It’s then likely that Chiefs will leverage this link to guarantee Ngcobo, also a target for Mamelodi Sundowns, is on their books in five months’ time.
