Kaizer Chiefs Football Club are believed to be yet to make a decision about the future of one of their talented defenders as his contract is set to expire.
According to the Kosibay news, the contract of Sfiso Hlanti is set to expire at the end of the season and Amakhosi has not made a decision on whether they will keep the full-back beyond this season.
Hlanti joined the Glamour boys from Swallows Football Club at the beginning of last season, along with the likes of Phathutshedzo Nange, Sbusiso Mabiliso, Alexander Cole and co.
It is believed that Sfiso Hlanti has a one-year extension option in his contract which Kaizer Chiefs could trigger, rather than giving him a new contract.
Should Amakhosi end up not triggering that one-year contract extension option, he will leave the club at the end of this season as a free-agent.
Ever since he joined Amakhosi, Hlanti has been the preferred left-back at the club.
