It’s evident, most Kaizer Chiefs fans feel Amakhosi could have signed a few more top players. Here are four free agents worth a shot.

Kaizer Chiefs, like most top clubs around world football, often need to make signings to ease the pressure from rivals’ exciting signings.

Arthur Zwane Set To Give Kaizer Chiefs Debut To Promoted Starlet!

Amakhosi could do with a signing to ease off any negative reactions after Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates‘ big signings ahead of the past transfer window deadline.

FOUR FREE AGENTS CHIEFS COULD CONSIDER

While many of you reading this may feel the listed players are too old, you just never have too much experience in a team. Also, look how some of the new young signings have seemed to freeze infront of big crowds.

Who does Arthur Zwane turn to should the likes of Caleb and Du Preez suffer injuries, suspension, or worse, fail to live up to expectations?

Who can cover the likes of Yusuf Maart and Njabulo Blom in the holding midfield area if Alexander Cole and Phathutshedzo Nange are not trusted enough?

Who is going to show experience when the team goes through a dry patch of results?

Here are some free agents with proven PSL experience:

Ndumiso Mabena, 35 – Striker / Number 10

The former Royal AM star is training with Orlando Pirates but is yet to sign.

2. Nathan Sinkala, 31 – Holding midfielder

The hugely experienced Zambia is yet to find a new club since leaving Stellenbosh FC in the winter.

3. Wayde Jooste, 30 – Right back / Winger

The former Pirates wing-back seems to have missed out on joining SuperSport United due to the club’s financial limits.

4. Augustine Mulenga, 32, Striker/ Winger.

The highly-rated Zambian was one of the shocking names AmZulu decided to release in June.
