News reaching the KosiBay News is that Kaizer Chiefs is looking to revisit their interest in Golden Arrows attacker Pule Mmodi, possibly in January or at the end of the season.

The player wanted the move to Kaizer Chiefs with the aim of taking his career to the next level and was visibly disappointed when it didn’t happen and his performance were affected in the opening stages of the season.

However, in recent matches the winger rediscovered his form and has been outstanding under Coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi and Mabhuti Khanyeza in his revival for Golden Arrows.

Pule Mmodi has scored in all of Golden Arrows matches and has contributed immensely to the team moving up to fifth position on the league standings.

Following his inspiring performances the winger was called up Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos’s 23 man squad for the international friendlies against Botswana and Sierra Leone.

In addition Pule Mmodi has moved up to second on the top goalscorers charts in the league, with four goals, and his behind Peter Shalulile who is six goals..

According to the KosiBay News source Pule Mmodi is being closely monitored by Kaizer Chiefs following his impressive performances, with the club expected to revisit their interest in January or end of the season.

Pule Mmodi has then entered into the last year of his contract with Golden Arrows, which means that the Soweto giants, or any other clubs that are interested in his service, could sign him on a pre-contract in January when he enteres into the last six months pf his ex-listing deal.

As things stands there are no signs of the player committing to a new deal with Golden Arrows side, who could risk pf losing one of their top players for free.
