Orlando Pirates are expected to make a decision on yet another big potential signing Ndumiso Mabena with one of the league’s top strikers still training with the club.

Ndumiso Mabena has been identified as a potential signing for the Buccaneers after parting ways with Royal AM.

With Bucs set to return to action this coming weekend with a big game against Mamelodi Sundowns in the MTN8 semi-finals, Mabena is still a possible signing for the Houghton-based club to add to the likes of Kermit Erasmus, Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and Sipho Chaine who were signed during the recently shut transfer window

Being a free agent, Mabena will not be affected by the transfer window in re-joining Bucs, should the club decide to add him to coach Jose Riveiro’s squad.

On Tuesday afternoon, Pirates shared some images of players in their training via the club’s App and the 35-year-old forward was part of the group.

Mabena played for Pirates between 2009 and 2014 and was hailed for his hard work in the creation of the team’s goals at the time despite not having scored many by himself.
