According to reports in the media, Kaizer Chiefs Football Club is considering trading at least three more players before the end of the June transfer window.
The KosiBay News reports that Amakhosi may sell off further players during this transfer window in order to fund the club’s rebuilding efforts.
Eric Mathoho, a long-time member of the team, is rumored to be considering a move elsewhere. The former Bloemfontein Celtic player has not even been included in a matchday squad thus far this season.
The 32-year-old defender last played for Amakhosi on March 19 against Lamontville Golden Arrows.
Happy Mashiane, another key player, may soon be on his way out of the organization. The winger on Kaizer Chiefs Football Club’s roster has seen little action as a sub this year.
The 24-year-old has been plagued by injuries, which led to him sitting out much of the 2017 season.
Siyabonga Ngezana is a third potential departure for Amakhosi. Amakhosi may contemplate trading the player following his lackluster showing against Mamelodi Sundowns, despite the fact that he is a regular starter for the team.
