Njabulo Blom has just made a SHOCK decision amidst contract disputes with Kaizer Chiefs. Is he heading out of Naturena?
Blom has hardly featured this season after failing to impress Arthur Zwane this season.
To make matters worse, he has not been able to reach an agreement over his wages with Chiefs management. Meaning, he is not getting playing time and his team (agency) feels that he is underpaid. Could he be heading out of Naturena before the end of the current transfer window?
BLOM’S DECISION… WILL HE LEAVE THE CHIEFS?
Amidst wage and contract issues and a lack of game time, it seems that Blom’s Chiefs issues may cause him to leave.
However, that is not the case. Despite being underpaid and underutilized Blom is committed to Amakhosi.
“He doesn’t like what is happening and all he wants is to see the negotiations done because he wants to focus on his career.
It’s disturbing for him, but he has been trying to take his mind off those things by training and still showing commitment to the club despite everything that has been said and the ongoing negotiations,” a source close to the player confirmed on The KosiBayNews.
Blom is more focused on developing himself as a player at Naturena.
“He respects Chiefs, he loves the club and he has been there for many years now.
He is one of the true success stories of the Chiefs development program and he wants to continue being at the club. There is still a lot that he wants to achieve and hopes his future lies with Chiefs,” the source added
His passion and love for this club is so strong and he is dedicated to his future with Chiefs.
This is music to the ears of Amakhosi fans who know how valuable Blom is to this team.
He is a Chiefs academy product and has well over a decade of football ahead of him in his career. He is also able to play at the back or in the midfield and he was one of Amakhosi’s best players last season.
