Kaizer Chiefs face the risk of losing one of their star players for FREE next season, if a new agreement can’t be reach.
According to reports, the Glamour Boys are struggling to find middle-ground in their negotiations with 22-year-old utility star Njabulo Blom.
Blom, arguably the most successful academy graduate at Naturena during recent years, has already made 85 appearances for the Glamour Boys.
Reports suggest the utility defensive midfielder is demanding an exorbitant new deal at Naturena.
“Kaizer Chiefs and Njabulo Blom’s contract negotiations appear to have hit a snag after the club tried to tie him down to a longer period” a SoccerLaduma report read.
“According to information gather by SoccerLaduma sources, the player’s camp is aiming to negotiate a package that is ‘way too high’ from the club’s perspective.”
While there’s still plenty of time for the Amakhosi management and Blom’s representatives to strike a deal, fans will be desperate to get things sorted out as soon as possible.
