Jamie Foxx will battle DJ Bongz

Best known for his single “Blame It,” Jamie Foxx will battle DJ Bongz for first place in the gwara gwara competition. On Instagram, the Hollywood star responded to Mzansi’s own DJ, stating he’s down to compete on the dance floor.

It’s five years now since deejay, dancer and choreographer DJ Bongz created his gwara gwara dance craze in 2016. It was an instant hit on the continent and beyond, Jamie says he wants to work with the star, even after their fight, in a video DJ Bongz released on the TL.

Jamie Foxx will battle DJ Bongz to a dance-off to determine who could be proclaimed king of the gwara gwara, or stanky leg, as it’s known in the United States. On Instagram, the Hollywood star responded to Mzansi’s own DJ, stating he’s down to compete on the dance floor.

“We will set it up, we will do a live Insta(gram) dance battle like you said, man. I appreciate your talents man. Hopefully we can get in the same room together and chop it up my brother,” said Jamie. Because of Jamie’s background with SA dancing skills, the clash is expected to be exciting. Jamie tossed his hat into the ring with a film of his own when the gwara gwara was taking the world by storm in 2019.

The public was enthralled by the South African portrayal in the video.

“This is how I dance when… 1. The coffee kicks in… 2. the check is cashed… 3. I just finished watching the first few minutes of Coming to America… What do you have?! This needs a caption! “…while I ice my f****** hamstring!” the star captioned.
