Chippa United head coach Gavin Hunt says they will go into their game this weekend against Royal AM with a good attitude, and look to get a positive result.

The Gqeberha-based DStv Premiership side has had a good start under Hunt, and are currently fifth after an away victory over Sekhukhune United, and a home draw against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Hunt says the FIFA break wasn’t at the best for their momentum, but it is the same for every team around the world.

“Obviously, the break has been a bit long, we wanted to play straight away after the Sundowns game,” Hunt told the club’s media department.

“But we know the FIFA break was coming, so at least we went into the FIFA break in a good frame of mind.

“And also, it’s a long time not to play a football match, especially after you just started, everybody wants to start, but it’s the same all over the world, so everybody’s in the same boat.”

While Royal AM haven’t had the best starts, Hunt says they have good players, mostly the former Bloemfontein Celtic players, so they will be dangerous.

“I mean, they got a good side, Celtic, it’s pretty much dominated by their players, they are the better players,” he continued.

“So it’s gonna be tough, obviously, they’ve had time to regroup a little bit, they had a bad start, but that always makes a team very dangerous.

“And they at home, so we certainly going to have to be at it and on it, and go with a good attitude and, and lets see how the game pans out.”

“Every game gives you a different opportunity. It is an away game which is always gonna be tough, it’s the second away game out of three. So ja, we’ll try and get as best we can.”
