Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker Mauricio Affonso found a new club on Primera Division side Club Atletico River Plate.
They confirmed the striker two months after parting ways with Sandawana.
The player was confirmed official on social media platforms on Thursday and had already started training with the club.
River Plate is the seventh club for Affonso.He have played in Argentina , Saudi Arabia and Peru where he Last played before joining Brazillians.
The striker will be remembered for his wonderful mind in a game where he scored a brace defeating Maritzburg United on 2-1 comeback in a Telkom knockout final.
He spent 2 years on Mamelodi Sundowns’s side scoring 6 goals ,making 22 appearances .
