Liverpool hoping for a great campaign after a good 1st game.
Mohamed Salah bagged a goal and two assists as Liverpool opened their Premier League campaign with a 3-0 victory over newly-promoted Norwich City on Saturday evening.
Liverpool lost the league on the last games of the 2020/2021 season and knocked out of Champions League.
They’ll be hoping to do better this season.
Virgil van Dijk was back in the line-up after suffering from injuries from last year October.
Reds scored the opening goal on the 26th minute by Diogo Jota after being assisted by Mohammed Salah. Salah assisted Roberto Firmino who putted it on the back of the net from close range to make it two on the 65 minutes.
Then Salah scored his goal on the 74 minutes with a very powerful finish on the corner of the box.
Norwhich did have few chances at goal which they failed to convert. Reds were happy with a clean sheet which they worked hard for.
