New Orlando Pirates signing Bandile Shandu has revealed what he will bring to the Buccaneers’ set-up this season.
Bandile Shandu signed a 3 year contract with Orlando Pirates after joining the club as a free Agent from Maritzburg United.
Shandu promises buccaneers fire this season.
“The move to Orlando Pirates was a bit of a shock to me,” he admitted to the club’s media team on Wednesday. “It’s a big, iconic club and there’s no footballer who doesn’t want to play for Orlando Pirates.
“I was very excited, but I know that this is where the hard work starts. It’s a big club, it’s got a lot of supporters. It’s a club that wants to win trophies. I was very excited and I am honoured to be here.”
“What I bring to the Orlando Pirates squad is hard work,” he added. “I can run all day, I’m not shy in pushing myself and going through the limits and I want to add some value. I will be working and I will never stop working.
“Coming into the team, my goal is to win silverware, to help the team win silverware and contribute where I’m needed to ensure that, as a team, collectively, we reach the goals that we have set.”
Shandu is 26 years old and is capable of playing in defence and midfield ,he attributes that he will make his greatest contributions for the club.
