Cole Alexander is edging closer to a move to Kaizer Chiefs, and The Kosi Bay can exclusively reveal that the midfielder is at Naturena.
According to a source who asked to remain anonymous within the Chiefs camp, Alexander has already started training with the rest of the team.
In fact, the 32-year-old midfielder took part in his first training session on Saturday, and he was again present at the training grounds at Naturena on Sunday.
Cole is at Naturena. He started training with the team on Saturday, and he was again present on Sunday,” the source told The Kosi Bay.
Now, with Alexander already training with Chiefs, this simply means his proposed move to the Soweto giants is imminent.
Alexander, 32, is currently a free agent having parted ways with Indian Super League (ISL) outfit Odisha FC on Friday.
Alexander had spent a season with Odisha; the club he joined after being recruited by current Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter in 2020.
And it’s a given that Baxter was influential in Alexander cutting ties with Odisha, and moving to Chiefs to reunite with him.
