Juventus have been put off a move for Gabriel Jesus after Manchester City revealed their asking price for the striker, according to a report in Italy.
The Old Lady has long admired the Brazilian international, who is now valued at roughly £43 million by City. Following the departure of Sergio Aguero to Barcelona, Jesus is now the Etihad Stadium’s lone senior striker, albeit Pep Guardiola did not always choose him even while Aguero was absent last season.
However, a move away from Manchester now appears less likely, as Calciomercato reports that Juventus are not willing to pay the figure quoted by City.
Jesus has scored 82 goals in 195 appearances for City and won three Premier League titles with the club.
The 24-year-old has been away with Brazil at the Copa America this summer, but missed the semi-final and final after getting sent off in the last eight against Chile.
