A Maritzburg United Defender has made shots to Kaizer Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter claiming his tactics are the same and that Kaizer Chiefs is struggling in their build up play
The two sides will do battle as head coach Ernst Middendorp faces his former side at the Harry Gwala Stadium on Sunday in a usually entertaining match-up.
“It’s going to be more of the same you know,” Daniels tells the Kosi Bay.
“Their front-three players are very exciting to watch. Their off the ball movement is amazing, especially when Keagan Dolly gets into the pockets and turns.
“You know he can be very, very dangerous.
“That is something to watch out for when Keagan is in between the lines and you get turned, then he penetrates you with speed. It’s one of his strengths.
“Khama Billiat and Bernard Parker you know, they have a good understanding too.”
Daniels hopes though, that luck continues to be on the Team of Choice’s side in a fixture that has proved fortuitous.
“Let’s hope the hoodoo continues, let’s hope it continues and we get a positive result on the day,”
“Chiefs are still struggling with their build-up play.
“So that’s a sign for us to maybe if we can go there and press them a little bit higher, be a bit braver you know with our lines.
“While also obviously just keeping a close eye on Khama Billiat, Keagan Dolly in those spaces.”
